    I enjoy getting to know the residents, care plans are accessible to employees, team oriented company. The activity coordinator is amazing and always has something planned for the residents,the chefs make amazing meals and get the residents involved with seeing what they would like to add to the menus, this facility is person centered care. Staff are friendly and management is friendly and easy to talk to with any concerns or questions you may have. They are flexible with your schedule.

    No policies are clearly stated or available. My mom had to be hospitalized on Christmas and since it was over 20 days, she got evicted. Medicare and Medicate still paid them, so payment was not an issue. That was NO-WHERE to be found in any documentation or on the website. Even the visiting hours are not posted. I visit normally once or twice a week and the visitor check in is always different or not clear. This is one of many major concerns (seen an elderly woman get locked out of the building and wait over 20 minutes trying to get in, but nobody came around). It seems as if policies are only shared when they are unknowingly violated, or feel made up. Especially since nothing is posted. Their "values" of "Respect". "Trust". "Integrity" "Commitment" are all marking words. There is no clear communication on anything, and be extremely careful if your loved one is admitted here. Some of the staff are great (One nurse in particular), but don't' be fooled. This is a business and has NO intention of treating clients like people. Only numbers. Edit: I noticed on the reply that there is NO way to contact the "owner". I can't call each location and ask to speak to the owner. And yes, it was over 20 minutes. I stood there and waited for staff to come to the front so I can ask a few questions for clarity as I watched the lady sit in her wheel chair waiting. I let her in, not the staff. There are clocks on the wall to verify. Again, the medical staff is incredible, but the management is extremely lacking.

    Prestige assisted living in hazeldel staff is just full of caring professionals. It might be understaffed right now, but the people there are hard working and doing the best with what they have. My dad who lived there for over a year was always treated with respect and concern for his needs. They have also gave me wise advice when his life was ending gradually. My dad was very strong willed and they always respected his decisions even when it hurt him in the long run. I can't say enough how good all the staff is. I am very grateful they took my dad in.

    The place is not well cared for, dirty.  Chaotic.  As a former resident, I have seen two employees crying.  Hard to get caregivers to come to my room.  I finally after a few years, moved.  Glad I did.

Any resident is free to leave if they wish, they just need to ring a buzzer to notify staff they’re ready to return inside. At no time has any resident been locked out for 20 minutes.
