Concord Arms

I've lived here 7 months now and my experience has been that it is well maintained, clean and a safe place to live. Had a few bumps in the road at first with management but think they are wonderful and do an excellent job.

Starting to feel like a Slum lord owns and runs this complex. The male manager of this complex seems to like gaslighting people and calling them liars to their face. He seems to be on a power trip of some sort. I had a package come from Amazon, somewhere it got mis addressed to their apt, he come to me and chews me out for having something sent to them. I responded I can prove I had it sent to me, but he said he didn't care, it came to him so I was wrong. Funny thing is the package delivered form Amazon just before this one and the one just after came to me. I did nothing to change address. Couple years later, I noticed on of the cast concrete steps going to the upstairs had a crack developing, but he had just had them inspected and they were structurally sound. 2 weeks later, they took 4 days to replace 6 of the steps with the staircase closed. (fortunately there are 2 such staircases) The management doesn't seem to care about much other than their money. They have 2 parking lots, one they just resealed with a paint type tar stuff (even tho the male called it resurfacing) and the other lot has seemingly run off the lot, into the drain and the street just beyond. When asked when/if they going to do something about it, got the reply the lot is beyond saving.

Came to visit a friend for the day. Parked in their parking spot and the manager tried to tow the vehicle even tho we were on the designated spot for the tenant that lives here. He was super unprofessional and uncooperative! if the vehicle had gotten towed I would 10000% seek legal action as the landlord had no idea what the situation was. Like what if the tenant got a rental or a new car??? No questions were asked just straight to the tow company. He shouldnt be running the property with his short temper . He is a liability to the community.

Honestly don't try to rent from this place even if you're desperate. Sure the 1200 a month sounds nice but is it worth dealing with horrible management? My gf, a friend of ours and I have been trying to apply for this place for about 2 weeks now. The wife who helps run the place with her husband told us to have our proof of income ready and we'll set up a meeting for applications. Here we are a week later with no phone calls returned and no one to answer and by the sounds of it from other people the husband does nothing but whine and complain to and about the other tenants while leaving everything else up to the wife to take care of. The incompetence on their behalf is ridiculous and I'm honestly surprised they're still running the place. TRUST ME! JUST SKIP THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Not only was the lady I talked to rude and rushed me off the phone one of the times, she has also failed to call me back about an apartment I was asking about. She told me we needed proof of income. And now that we got it, she won't answer or call me back. I do not recommend this place. Definitely seems like they disrespect their tenants and future tenants.
