We hope you are well Misti. We do have some points to discuss with you though. You contacted the agency at 12 pm exactly March 2nd of 2023 in text for the first time since moving and then in an email Dec 22. In 2022 we facilitated your move and cancellation of your policy on the date requested when you left for TX. You and I spoke about a $58 bill due to Farmers® on December 22 and what the reason was for it. I told you that afternoon that that was for the remaining time you were insured for the month and that you just needed to pay for the time insured and you would be good to go. Every conversation we have had clearly stated that you do not owe money to cancel but our conversations were always left with you understanding the answers to your questions. If there is a bill for "hundreds of dollars" that you owe it's never been shown to us. There are no records of calls or voicemails between the times that I have notes, texts, and email records. We suggest that you reach out to the Farmers® billing company as suggested in both convos to resolve this issue that you have. This is posted 9 months after you were originally told about how cancellation works and 2 days prior to actually reaching out to us and being to pay the $58. I cannot see what collection agency owns that debt. We understand the frustration and if you need reminders of the emails sent to us in December we are happy to forward you the entire conversation where you were told this. I cannot help any further than I have in these many conversations and suggest you reach out to the company calling you. Thanks!
