Cascade Tax Service-Old Address-We Moved!

I always go here when Im unsure about somthing while filing my taxes. or If I need something fixed. They always do a great job and make me feel way more confident about things going smoothly then Turbo Tax. Turbo also had me owing more then I should. It was great having my money go to a local business and nice because it saved me a bit in the long run!

My husband and I used cascade tax service this year to file our first taxes as a married couple and as new homeowners. I wish I could give a better rating, as Ken Conrad was a pleasure to work with. He offered a consultation to explain his services and review our situation and we were very pleased with our experience. He quoted $100 to complete our taxes and then offered us a $25 discount, as our parents referred us to the office. After completing our taxes, Elizabeth Robertson was reviewing the tax return and told me that I owed $100 for the service. I explained that Ken had quoted us $75 when we consulted with him because we had a referral credit. She then told me that we would be receiving a reimbursement check in December for the referral. I was confused as this was not was I was told in my previous experience. She then went through paperwork and told me that I was actually already given the discount and would not be receiving a check in December. I was frustrated as this is not what I had agreed to pay. She then went and spoke with Ken regarding the situation and he instructed her to give the discount. She still would not give the referral discount to my husband and me and proceeded to print out a quote for $216.00 and told me that we actually got a huge discount already because $216.00 is what the 'normal' price is for our income tax return services. Elizabeth was rude, unorganized, and even after being instructed by Ken to discount our price still wouldn't. My husband and I really enjoyed working with Ken and were planning on returning next year, but because of this experience will be looking elsewhere.
