Enrolled my gen ed 5th grader in WAVA during Winter Break. I realize now that enrollment is technically through K12 via a 3rd party co. called Stride K12 not WAVA. Stride is a private fulfillment company out of Virginia and WAVA is public school through Omak. Once enrollment documents were processed with K12 and her WAVA teacher was assigned (took a couple weeks) communication is now very effective & easy. The first phase is unnervingly quiet. Hang in there its worth the wait. It goes from super quiet (K12) to everything all at once (WAVA). They shipped several boxes of supplies to our house (laptop, headphones, books, art supplies, etc). All packaging says Stride . She has 1 required live video class each day. She chose 9:30am vs. 11:00am because shes an early riser and wants to be done early. That class is from 9:30 to 10:15am. Currently, she is 1 of 16 students. Teacher does a good job keeping distracting behaviors to a minimum. My kiddo spends less than a third of the time on school than she did at local public schoolwith zero social stressors. At local school, shed walk out to the bus at 7:30am and not get home until 4:45pm-9hrs!!! By bedtime, she was absolutely exhausted. With WAVA, she has 45min class each day called ClassConnect, assigned tasks in her online interface (which is very easy to navigate for kids), and her teacher is very nice & responsive to questions via email & telephone (Shout out to Nicole Reynoldson!! ). Parents can monitor schedule, progress and messages through the online app. Highly highly recommend!! So far, my kiddo has zero intention on returning to local school any time soon. Shes finally back to the happy-go-lucky kid I recognize from Summer breaks. Yay!

it's soooo so difficult to get in contact with them. I have been calling them almost for week and wait for 40-50 minutes on hold.

WAVA is amazing!!!!! we can work around our busy schedule and still be learning at a fast pace. My son enjoys it and is learning so MUCH! As a parent/teacher i am beyond happy with this program and its results! Cant wait for our daughter to start the program too!!! Thanks WAVA!!!

Great school fit for my son, he is able to excel in his classes. He also is able to do extra activities during the school day
