Sleep with the dogs and get up with the fleas. Can't say that enough after walking away from this "academy". This school has become something of a monster, which is understandable due to psycho parents, a school board made of alumni Parents, and a very incestuous group of power hungry Karens.It's widely known that several parents turn in homework on behalf of their kids. Teachers will not address this because they are busy taking bribes in the form of gifts. One teacher actually emailed a list of gifts that she would accept from parents at the end of school year. Restaurant gifts cards and concert tickets were on the top. Unbelievable.See for yourself. Ask questions to teachers and faculty alike and count how many vastly differing answers you get. This is across the board whether its classroom, faculty, attendance. The "fieldtrips" that are structured to give pretty big payouts to parent volunteers.

I love Charles Wright. The faculty is second to none. Professional, friendly, and invested in the success of my children. If I ever have a question or concern, everyone is quick to respond and very understanding. And the campus is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful sports fields. We felt welcome from the start and, years later, we still get excited when we arrive on campus. It really feels like a family and I would encourage anyone looking for a great independent school in Pierce County to give CWA a serious look.

Community, integrity, respect, authenticity, quality and respect are a few of values this school exudes. We have experienced each division from Beginning school through High school and admire how CWA has adapted and evolved along with our growing children, the ever changing times and state of the world. What we appreciate is that throughout the years and changes that have come, the sense of security, community, satisfaction and the quality of experiences have reliably remained. The curriculum is innovative, exciting, engaging, challenging and fun. It feels as if the collaborative and appropriate curriculum is customized to each student, and that is because it is. The dedication, intention, hard and hard work that the faculty and staff put into curating educational experiences for each student is unmatched and unwavering. When conflicts or challenges have occurred, they been addressed with compassion, transparency, approachable communication and resources as well options for solutions that we have been more than satisfied with. Each member of our family looks forward to school each day and our students come home feeling supported, ready for what the world holds. We could not wish for anything more and highly recommend you experience for yourself joyful, active learning at CWA.
