I really dont know why this place is so popular, other than the fact that there are very few bakeries in Tacoma. Stopped by on a Sunday morning. It was pretty crowded. Service was slow but friendly. Croissants are just ok, not great. The banana pudding is bland and they put two banana chips on top, underneath the nilla wafers, that never fully soften resulting in a weird texture. The macaron flavors were unique but the ones I tried were dry and crumbly, not chewy. I saw they had prefilled cannoli. I didnt get one because that is illegal where I am from so I dont know what it was filled with. It is supposed to be ricotta and confectioners sugar. Anyway, didnt try it as the prefilled part is just wrong. Overall, disappointing experience.

Love, love, LOVE the gluten free options! Stop here every time we are in Tacoma. The sweet and savory baked goods are the best. My favorite is the gluten free breakfast sandwich, or the chocolate cake, or the cookies... OK, I love everything I've ever tried here!
The coffee is delicious, too.
Dietary restrictions: The best selection for vegan and/or gluten free bakery items.

Phenomenal variety of baked goods. GF options as well.
Coffee, cookies, croissants, Scones, muffins, quiche, sandwiches!!
Tried bread pudding: tasty!
Blueberry muffin: oh yummy!
Cute atmosphere! Long line in am. Only reason for 4 stars in atmosphere is because it is a small place, at no fault of their own!
The wait in line??? WORTH it.

My son and I are both GF and this place has a wonderful assortment of GF options. The atmosphere is wonderful and cozy and the staff has been fabulous every time we've gone. It's a little spendy but we think it's worth it... great quality!!!
