While Moss Adams may have a strong reputation, my personal experience with them left much to be desired. As the owner of an international freight forwarding company specializing in perishable goods, we initially turned to Moss Adams for their extensive resources and expertise across various departments. However, what seemed promising on paper didn't translate well into practice.
Despite our expectations, Moss Adams consistently missed our quarterly reviews and continually postponed projects, promising to address them 'next time.' After two years of this pattern, I voiced my frustrations and questioned the lack of progress. Their response was disappointing; they simply cited their size as a reason and suggested we seek services from a boutique firm insteadironically, right before the tax season began.
For small to mid-size companies like ours, I'd recommend exploring other options. While Moss Adams may have its merits, there are certainly better-suited firms out there that prioritize client needs and deliver on their promises.
