    I would rate this branch less than one star, have reduced days open to three and then when you do go to the branch they are not open because of staff shortages. They should be able to figure out something so customers can depend on your bank, which I feel right now is not reliable.

    moved to this bank from Key bank... nothing but top shelf service from this branch, only do $600k a year in sales but treat me like Im a big business, now looking forward to securing 1.5M loan to buy a building......

    Theres another bank next to the Courtyard Marriott that doesnt seem to understand customer service and how to EARN business. They had an attitude like it was my privilege to open an account with them and I was somehow a burden? I wasnt considering Umpqua but since they were nearby, I decided to drop in and ask a couple questions. The security guard lady was very nice as I entered the building and when I approached the teller to inquire about an account she was very helpful and extremely courteous. She also told me that they were merging with Columbia Bank, so future services will likely be across the street which is why they have limited hours of service. When I came back later that day, the Banker helped me open an account, made my first deposits, helped me set up the Umpqua mobile account, verified access and gave me his card if I had any questions or needed any help/additional services. Very efficient and very nice just like the lady working the teller. I am now working on transferring all my deposits from B of A to Umpqua little by little since the service and attitude has been horrible at B of A. Ill be sure to post a follow up once the merger is completed because itll be interesting to see what the service will be like at a Regional Bank especially for Business clients because Wells Fargo was very shady. If you didnt know, they opened up other accounts when you didnt even sign up for it? They also charged me for foreign currency fees when I never changed any foreign currencies? Granted it was only $0.02 each time I deposited cash/checks to my business account but no one could give me a straight answer why they kept positing these charges to my business account and why they opened an account for something I never signed up for? This is why chose B of A when I started my 2nd business but unfortunately the service has been horrible. The lines at the teller are sooo long and I dont even go to the bank that often but it doesnt seem to matter what day or time? They alao dont respect the appointments you make online or in person? When your running a business you have limited time during the day so I made my appointment at 12pm but even when I got there at 11:55am they still made me wait until 12:10pm when there were several Bankers without clients? The arrogance like they are more important than you (the customer) was the main reason I started the exit process. Hopefully Umpqua/Columbia will see the value of customer service and capture market share from National Giants like B of A or Wells Fargo that treat customers poorly. I dont treat my customers or employees poorly and respect everyones time, so I dont think its too much to ask or expect from a Bank.
