REI Distribution Center

For an "earth friendly" company sending a 1 oz paper thin object in a large box is ridiculous, wasteful, and unacceptable. For all the technology available in this world, why not use an envelope? REI is just another corporate monster with no sincere care about the planet. Be better REI.

Great place to work and the hours are perfect for any schedule. Managers are amazing at accommodations in general; However, communication needs improvement between managers and employees. I was terminated while on approved maternity leave, for failure to respond back to my manager's phone calls to a number he wasn't sure was mine despite me being reachable on our regular source of communication on Google Teams OR my email found in my file. In response to me trying to get my job back, all I received was a "apply again and we'll hire you if we have availability". Great company but be wary of surprises.

The cleanest, most organized, most professionally run facility I have ever visited. Fantastic group of people with great attitudes and high standards!

Tried to exchange an rei brand jacket that fell apart after normal use and i was blamed for not cleaning the jacket. Lost all trust for rei brand products. They are cheaply made and fall apart under normal use.
