First Rate Roofing... Name says it all! They arrived at my house to fixes some leaks in my garage roof. They removed all the affected areas replacing all the ice and water shield then replaced with the exact shingles. The did an impeccable job. They cleaned and inspected the entire roof fixing any other issues they came across. We had a big mess with moss and debris on one side of the house and they not only cleaned the roof they also treated the roof for the moss. Everywhere they were was completely and thoroughly cleaned up. Cannot thank them enough!

Our experience with First Rate Roofing Services has been just that, first rate. I cannot convey the pleasure it has been to work with Ethan and his crew. We first called for an ice dam problem and a piece of something falling off the roof. Ethan came over that evening, hopped on the roof and in no time was able to show us photos of his findings and provide us with suggestions on moving forward. In fact, he found an actual hole in our roof and would not leave that night before covering the hole with an extra piece of shingle he had with him. Within 24 hours we had written estimates of several options we could use to deal with problem. We expected to replace our roof this year so we decided to go with that option, but he offered a variation that helped us get through the winter and save up the funding we would need to replace the roof in the spring. We had First Rate do some minor repairs to deal with the ice dam and get us through the winter. The costs were reasonable, and we had no problems this winter. Come spring we decided to proceed with the replacement. We called and scheduled the work to be done starting April 1st. Not only did everything go as planned, down to the last detail, our expectations were met and exceeded on every level. It was obvious from the second the team showed up that these people knew what they were doing and were there to do a quality job. They used top quality materials that were A1 rated for fire. From demolition to installation, everything was so professional, so clean and every detail attended to perfectly. Our roof was replaced in 3 days. The team was wonderful to work with and our installation looks and is perfect. We have a solarium off the back of our home that is 3 floors up. It required some special materials and handling to ensure the transition from the house to the glass is secure, they did an amazing job. After the job was done Ethan came over the next day, got on the roof, took pictures and then walked the perimeter of the property to ensure every detail was intended to as described. There is not so much as a nail left behind. Everything is photo documented and guaranteed. We are extremely happy with the roof and could not recommend anyone better than First Rate Roofing Services. My confidence in the customer/vendor relationship has been renewed. We highly recommend First Rate Roofing Services.

I did not work with them for a roofing project, but just saw one of their technicians stop to help an elderly man with a broken down car get out of traffic safely. If they are willing to care for someone in need, I have no doubt the take fantastic care of their clients.

Last night we discovered that we had a leak in the ceiling next to a light fixture. Luckily it was in the shower stall. I am so happy that I called Ethan at First Rate Roofing. This morning I spoke with Ethan on the phone, and within three hours he was at our house. Not only was he extremely knowledgeable, he very personable and we had a great conversation. Above the leak spot are three roof vents. He determined that the problem most likely was in the vent closest to the ceiling leak, and identified that the shingles near the vents hadnt been properly nailed in. He asked if I wanted him to caulk all three vents as a precaution which I most definitely did. He would not have done so without my permission. He took photos of his work and showed them to me explaining what hed done, and why he thought caulking around the vents would solve the problem. His assessment was logical and I agree with it. If I ever need any type of roof repair or replacement I will be calling Ethan. If anyone ever asks me about roofers in the area, I will recommend First Rate Roofing. I couldnt be more pleased with the repair and any stress I had about the leak is now gone. I urge anyone reading this review to call First Rate if you need any roof work done.
