We had a great experience with our 2nd ultrasound and 3rd appointment. Dr. Newell is so calm and easy to be around. The Ultrasound Tech was wonderful and made us both feel so comfortable.

At the age of 22, I had been through roughly 11 years of intense pain, only for doctors to ignore and minimalize. So when I went into Dr. Newell's office, I was afraid the same thing was going to happen. Not so, however! She was kind and understanding and was willing to work with me to alleviate the pain. Now at this point, it had gotten bad enough to hinder my daily life. I explained the problems and told her that I don't want kids so I wouldn't object to a hysterectomy. Fast forward 2 months, I leave the hospital post-hysterectomy. Fast forward another 2 weeks to the post-op, I learned that I had a condition called adenomyosis, which is like endometriosis, but the only way to get rid of it is a hysterectomy. She told me that I was the youngest patient she had seen with adenomyosis. This entire experience has been so validating and freeing. Without her, I'd still be in borderline debilitating pain with excessive bleeding every day. I am so thankful to have found someone who is thoughtful and actually takes my concerns seriously. Because of Dr. Newell, I can finally enjoy my life.
