The Mango Tree - North Spokane

Our first time here to meet friends. Was not sure of the menu choices beforehand and next time I will choose something different. We sat in an out of the way area and it was kinda weird that all the tables by us had their chairs on the tables. I've never had Indian food before trying this place on a whim and let me tell you I was blown away by the food and service! The servers are so nice and walked us through the menu and what dishes they recommended. Saying the food here tasted incredible is a understatement highly recommended!

Have eaten at the South Hill location and was very impressed. We decided to eat closer to home thinking it would be the same. Had Tikka Masala with pork. Flavors were very good but most of the pork was inedible. First bite was just gristle. Most other pieces were at least 50% fat. Service and atmosphere were great. My husband had a dish with pork as well. He is not a picky eater and spit out pieces that were mostly fat. I hope it was just a bad night for pork. The spiced tea with milk was very tasty. We may try this location again but it will be awhile.

So delighted to discover the Mango Tree. Best Indian food I've ever eaten from a restaurant. Generous portion sizes and vegetarian options. Don't skip the sauce, it takes things to a whole new level. Can't say "yum" enough about this place!
