        The rooms were clean and the staff was amazingly helpful even after we checked out as we had some issues being picked up by our ride service so I commend them for that, front desk, kudos to you and your patience in dealing with us. Safety: There are plenty of homeless and vagrants out and about in downtown Spokane so do keep your eye on you things

        It's just ok. Clean, but a little dated. The front staff on check-in was great and so was the checkout staff. The breakfast had cereal, eggs, waffles and Jimmy John microwavable breakfast sandwiches. The coffee was drinkable, but not that good.

        Good cute retro look of early to late 70s but nice place for the monies spent. Included are free breakfast, free wifi, free hot coffee always on, free gym room, no hand sanitizer anywhere, only one laundry machine and dryer with no available soap even for purchase (feel they missed the mark here to make even more money they should sell soap and softener and have another washer dryer) the hallways were freezing and the front reception desk area was farely cold. Just when you walk in from the cold you want it to feel warm and inviting. The clerk was extra courteous. Rooms: Nice clean and quaint rooms that have that take you back to the 70's vibe which I liked. Lamps have USB and plug in spots, mini-fridge, microwave, TV, coffee pot, and they even have an ironing board and iron. Nearby activities: Near River front park, river park Square mall, the library, historic Browns edition, near the South hill, Bing Crosby theater, also near some great old architecture type churches. Food & drinks: Just soda vending machines but free continental breakfast in the morning Noteworthy details: Free parking

        So, i didn't see the review about the roach, but imma be straight, im a picky traveler, and this is kind of my new favorite hotel in the area. It's affordable, the staff are nice and willing to work with you, the breakfast is cool(I like me biscuits an gravy or some sort of direct protein, but for the price of the hotel, the breakfast is solid!), I didn't experience any bug issues given the location and previous reviews. I'd return, for sure
