Honestly just answer the phone. The machine says my wait time is 5 minutes. I call at 7 am & am still on hold for half an hour to an hour. The hiring process is extremely confusing and has messed up my hiring portal so much. Was supposed to start last week but the state cant get their stuff together

Never in my life have I had a background check take so long. Also a company that doesnt have the correct things in place for communication and follow-ups on such things as ssn was inputted wrong. They said they called and emailed. No proof nothing in my cell phone nothing. To think this will be who Im going to get paid through is disgusting. The state of Washington needs to do better. Seiu has been contacted. I have never in my life ever had a background take this long ever considering that I keep my background clean for this reason. The wait times to even speak to someone 30 minutes then turned into almost 50 mins. I spoke to Tammy yesterday and I asked does your employer plan to improve with communication and get the necessary tools to make sure good communication in the future Tammy said if you find something let me know and laughed a little. This isnt a joke. Im doing this to help care for my vulnerable uncle while already working full time. In my many years of employment iv never had such despicable customer service let alone NO COMMUNICATION FROM SAID PERSON PLACE OR THING TO SAY HEY THIS ISNT CORRECT IM CALLING YOU TO HELP YOU FIX THIS. Instead I am the one doing all the work. DO BETTER CDWA. The people we care for are depending on us and you.
