Sasquatch Dogs

I highly recommend Allie and Sully with Sasquatch Dogs. These two are lover of dogs, compassionate, patient, kind, supportive and knowledgeable. I have a VERY active golden retriever and I was feeling very overwhelmed. They gave me the guidance and tools necessary to be successful with the training. The homework sheets were very easy to follow. They never left me hanging always asking if I was feeling good about the lesson being taught. They are always available to answer any questions I have. You will not be disappointed with your decision to work with Sasquatch Dogs.

I had two trainers work with my pup and me. I found Sasquatch Dogs online while looking for an in home trainer. I met with another in home trainer as well. I liked the philosphy of Alli and Sullie when they met Tobi. I was taught to train my puppy. They showed me what to do and it was my responsibility to follow through. Tobi and I did well, connected better when I learned to not yell or punish, and he did great! I reccomend Sasquatch Dogs to anyone who has felt lost or unsuccessful when training. We have gone to typical in-class dog training in the past, and we are so glad that we went with Sasquatch Dogs in-home training this time around. Having Sully and Allie come out and ask us about our goals and concerns, evaluate our pups behaviors, and train in our corgis home environment with our entire family was amazing. They were very professional, organized, easy to communicate with, & have a clear love for dogs and their work. They both provided exceptional support with our many questions during and in-between sessions, the time we lost our homework, worked with our availability based on work schedules and were flexible with rescheduling when we had an unexpected illness pop up. They taught us games to play with our corgi that really helped with involving our son in the training process and had the benefit of exercising our pups brain as well as getting some energy out of his system. It was so encouraging to watch him really try to figure out what we were asking of him, and how very happy he was to figure out what a command meant, and not just for the reward of a treat, but just because he was eager to understand and get praised for doing something right, rather than more negative attention cycle that we had fallen into before starting training. With direction to us on our body language, combined with verbal commands and concept training for our pup, within a couple of days of the first session, I was able to sort the laundry and load the dishwasher without a puppy trying to help me every step of the way, which was truly not an outcome I expected based on how our chore routine had been previously. Definitely be open & prepared to take direction on how you can be better, dont be afraid to ask questions and for clarifications as needed, and know that you need to put the time in to practice what you and your dog learn in between meeting with the trainers.

Amazing experience, professional, and they were great with our dog. Our dog listened to them well, was always excited to sessions, and they are very knowledgeable. We noticed the adjustments and improvements with listening right away! Thanks!
