        We decided to try The Milk Bottle in the Garland District. We had spent some time at a nearby tattoo parlor and were hungry. I was a huge fan of the movie Benny and Joon, so I knew we had to try it. It is very small with just a few tables. Luckily for us, it was later in the day so it was not very crowded. We were able to find street parking fairly close, across the street. We were greeted right as we walked in. We grabbed a table right next to a window. The menu was your typical diner food. It is an open concept so you could see the cooks preparing the food. The waitress came over to take our order. My burger was juicy and delicious. The milkshakes are served in a tall glass with the rest still in the metal blender cup. The milkshakes had the perfect ratio of milk to ice cream. It has a very retro feel to it. Our waitress was very nice, she did not seem rushed or overwhelmed. Everything was served in a timely manner and exactly as it was ordered. 10/10 I definitely would recommend this place for a good burger and milkshake!
