Don't support this place if you care about horse welfare. We met an older horse who is used for beginner lessons. Horse was very underweight with all ribs visible, and had big lumpy knee which caused obvious pain and lameness. No qualified, knowledgeable horse person would ride this poor horse. They clearly prey on beginners who don't know any better. Really sad place.

My daughter did her first lesson this last weekend. We will definitely be back. She's 10 and it was her first time riding. Leslie told me all about what they do and how they care for the horses while the trainer showed my daughter what to do. We got to pet all the horses and learn about them. My daughter had a very good trainer that had her steering the horse by herself before the end of the first lesson. There were other riders there in different levels of learning which I thought was cool to see. They have a dry arena and outdoors depending on the weather. I have a feeling this will end up being a long term thing for us.

I have been riding for nearly 7 years but started riding at ATU recently, I absolutely love it here! Everybody is so friendly, we became friends fast. I love the horses and MJ is amazing and has taught me so much in just a little bit. I cant wait to learn more and keep on bettering myself. Thank you guys!
