I took my jeep to Meineke Car Care Center to have my transmission looked at. The repair center I had it at originally informed me that my transmission was 'TOAST' and was going to cost me around Eight grand to replace but when I asked what was wrong or what failed in it they couldn't tell me. So I decided to call around to find someone that could confirm that my transmission was 'TOAST' or diagnose what was really wrong with it. I did have a code from the computer. When I talked to Meineke, Rob informed me that the code didn't refer to a bad transmission but rather, a bad electrical plug. He suspected that some oil had gotten in to the plug and since I had just had it flushed 3 months earlier, he suspected that the filter may have some residual crap in it. Sure enough, it was both of the items he suspected and 2 days later and a whole lot less money, I had my jeep back running like a top. Awesome work and extremely nice folks to work with.
