I had a great experience at Dang Tax and Accounting. I needed some help to review my amended tax return since it didnt correct. Michael at Dang Tax and Accounting quickly found an error in my return. He was generous enough to offer the visit at no cost since the visit only lasted about 10 minutes, which to me exemplifies amazing customer service.

When there is great service it does not matter if you need to wait to be seen. Thank you Dang Tax Nina, Michel and Father your team is the best. Quick, efficient, to the point, very knowledgeable. If I could give you 100 stars I would.

I first did my taxes through Dang Tax in two years ago when the office was in Kent. It was a professional, efficient, and affordable experience. Since then, their business model has changed and I would no longer recommend their services. I made an appointment, but they evidently over-book. I walked in to a waiting room full of 15 plus people and I could not get an estimation of how long Id be waiting. Also, when checking in, they asked me to write my social security number on a piece of paper and the receptionist entered that into a massive computer screen in huge font on display for everyone in the waiting area, which pulled up all of my details. That was concerning, but Id had such a positive experience previously, I just sat and waited. I waited 20 mins and there was no movement in the queue. I left since it was impossible to get any wait estimation from the receptionist. Looked like I was going to be there at least an hour before ever being seen. The whole experience was just bizarre and so unlike the positive one I had years ago, when they were smaller and more professional.

I never felt the need to write a review for places whether they are super amazing or super terrible. Well, for once, I feel like I should. Let me walk you through my experience here. My mother and I arrived a couple mins early before our appointment time. The front desk receptionist checked us in and asked us to wait. Now, please keep in mind that there are no other clients in the office except for the workers there and my party of 2. We had to wait 10mins passed our appointment time with no apologies or recognition of them being late. The person we came to see is named Nina. She didn't come greet us or bring us in to a private office. Instead, she sat at one of the cubicle and called us in. We sat down, and again, no greetings at all, Nina asked my mom "Nails?" Um... I'm sure whether it's Vietnamese, Chinese, and or American culture, shouldn't you want to make your clients feel welcome before getting into the serious stuff? Also, with it being serious stuff, why are we in a public setting instead of being taken back to a room? We ignored the rudeness from Nina and continued. I asked about the pricing for the services they provide, and the numbers they dropped are expensive. It is double the amount that I would normally pay for. I don't know what they were assuming about us, but clearly questioning their prices and not being gullible has taken them aback. My mother and I agreed that there was nothing else to discuss so we thanked Nina for her time and left. Quick note, Nina again didn't say bye or anything. She just up and left like we were a bother to her in the first place instead of being a valued customer. I've experienced bad services and rude services before. This was definitely both. Whether it's from an Asian perspective or an American perspective (which, I'm both). Nina failed. She was rude and she was late. I don't mind waiting that long if she had a client with her, but there was none. I don't mind paying money for great and friendly services, but there was none. Don't expect me to drop my hard earned money with someone who doesn't have any etiquette or respect for their clients. I thought with the good ratings and the fact that they have been around for a long time now that they would be receptive... Well, I guess Nina ruined it for us with her unprofessionalism. We will never come back, nor will we recommend this place to anyone else. Maybe the others there has a better attitude, but we don't care to know. I do suggest trying to find another place to do your tax. This place charges a lot and they are aware of it. Nina confirmed verbally that some of their clients has also said the same thing. Also, Dang Tax & Accounting is apparently their new business name. Their old name, which is still on their building, was Charlie Dang Tax & Accounting with a 2.9 star rating. Their Yelp Reviews aren't amazing either. Just keep that in mind before coming here. Please do not reply back to me. Whether you want to apologize for my experience or to shift blame to us to make yourself look better, don't bother because it's over anyway. Though, Nina can do with some training to fixed that terrible attitude of hers regarding not wanting to deal with her customers. Au Revoir.
