Whether its dine-in, carry out, or delivery, Ive been eating here and at the Ballard location almost monthly for the last 6 years. Ive seen them go through Covid, a myriad of personnel / management issues, menu changes, etc. I recently went and got a large pizza with no drinks or apps, and the bill was over $50. For one pizza?! Their recent staff is great and a big improvement, but when they brought the bill we were told there was a 20% dine-in fee that goes straight to the house and that the staff doesnt see any of it - in other words, please still tip. Keep in mind that they also charge a carry out fee in addition to a delivery fee. Now you have to pay to eat here. The company must really be hurting. This wasnt the servers fault, so I didnt make a big deal, but I found it ironic she was telling us how dead it was all night. Hmm I wonder why? Maybe because you charge a fee to dine in, take out, AND deliver.

I door dashed from here, got a half Veggie Bomb and half Margherita. Good: veggie bomb was solid, good amount of toppings Bad: pizza was thin and weirdly hard, like I stopped eating because I was getting tired of chewing. Veggie Bomb was good but the Margherita was honestly offensive, there was barely any sauce and cheese, and barely any basil. I would highly recommend against getting the Margherita, it's not worth at all Pizza is average to good, but price is way too high unfortunately, especially if they're not even gonna give toppings

I moved to Seattle about 7 years ago and was once really impressed and loved the ESR restaurant group, but honestly their pricing model has gotten so out of hand. We had one pizza, the ballard bridge, and it was alright, not spectacular, or fancy or artesianal. No drinks at all, nothing else. The bill was over $50 for the one pizza with some unmentioned, unadvertised 20% charge that all goes to the house, so you also have to leave tip for the wait staff, which feels like a second tip at that point. There are whack charges on it like a $2.50 take-out charge? We were eating there! The atmosphere was great, the staff has pretty much always been very good, experience was great, but honestly it's not worth that price to me, and it feel like it's far past it's prime, and I don't feel any heart anymore. I'm gonna use my "loyalty points" which aren't that great, for one more hoorah, and then be done with them for good. I suggest you ask questions before and when the bill comes.
