I recently had the pleasure of working with Rachel for our company's team headshots, and I couldn't be happier with the experience and results! Coordinating headshots for our growing team involved a lot of planning, from clothing choices to hair and makeup. By the time the session day arrived, I was exhausted and hoping for the best. From the moment I arrived at the studio, Rachel immediately put my concerns to rest with her calm demeanor and friendly conversation. Her advice on planning and staggered arrivals was invaluable, and it all came together seamlessly. What impressed me most was her innovative setup: she had her camera connected to an oversized monitor facing the subject, allowing us to see the photos in real-time. This approach was a refreshing change from the standard rapid-fire method, as it gave us the opportunity to adjust poses and expressions on the spot. Analyzing the photos together created a sense of camaraderie among our team, fostering trust and unity. Additionally, being able to request touch-ups in real-time meant we left the session with finalized photos, eliminating the need for numerous back-and-forth emails. Also, her hair and makeup artist was conveniently located onsite and gave all of us personalized attention--Katya had all the right tools in her kit to match our wide range of skin tones and hair types. I cannot stress how important this process was toward a seamless, clean finish to our photos. Overall our entire team was thrilled with the results, and we're already looking forward to our next round of photos in a few years. I did a professional portrait session with Rachel at her studio. Rachel was wonderful to work with. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed. She had great suggestions and strategies to get great quality shots. I was really happy with the final photos, which portray me in a professional but natural way, as I was hoping. She was also fast and efficient in her communication and turnaround time.

Rachel came highly recommended to us from two separate people. And, the referrals were spot on about Rachel's work. Working with Rachel, was exactly what we were looking for. Her level of professionalism, insight and creativity was beyond our expectations. Rachel researched our website and social media prior to our photo session. Throughout the session she thought about how the pics would look on our website and created mockups throughout the day. Every picture she took was with intention. This made the final selection process so much easier as many of the photos were already chosen while we were taking the pics. I also highly recommend that each customer takes her suggestion of having hair and makeup done on the day of the shoot. It did make a big difference and simply made us feel even better about the pictures and it was fun. Finally, Rachel's editing skills are beyond compare. She was able to blend aspects, including people and faces from one photo to another in order to get the best photos of everyone.
