What a pos, has you sign a contract and takes your money and does not fight for you. It was so bad the other lawyers were making fun of him...just pitiful. Oh by the way this was in 2016 thru 2017 when he claimed to be a criminal lawyer. I see now he is still living in that nasty office of his taking on chasing ambulances now. I would not refer him for anything. Cindi Allison vs Jane. Remember that one John? You dumped your client on her head days before trial.

Hired this guy when he had his office in a residential house across from Sylvester Middle School.  Aside from the fact that his office was in a house, when i walk in to his bedroom office, he had his feet up on the desk.  These were red flags that i ignored but I decided to hire him thinking that paying a higher fee would get me better results.  I feel he didnt push for my case (i had no prior issues with the law before or since my incident) and seemed to believe the 100% false police report and asked me questions about what happened as if i was guilty.  I asked about going after the police department and bar where the incident happened but he just talked me out of it stating it would be a uphill fight.  He didnt seem to believe me and just opted for doing what's best for your typical criminal. Like I said, I had never been in trouble prior to this incident or since the incident.  I feel John could've made way more money from my case had he believed me and fought for me but seemed more interested in allowing a smearing campaign of my character and previous perfect non criminal history.

It took John 3 years to settle my case and I ended up getting less than 1/3 of what I deserved. He should have made up for it out of the thousands I paid him. He lived out of his office which was the first red flag. It was disgusting. At first he was nice and helpful but once the contract was signed he was aloof and condescending when ever I had questions. In the end I had to pay ALL of my own medical bills that went to collections. He couldnt even get the insurance company of the driver who rear ended me to cover them. I implore you to go talk to anyone else. EDIT 10 MONTHS LATER- still getting medical bills in the mail that I am stuck with. So far John Kannin made thousands from my case, robbed me, talked me into settling for less and now I have spent my whole settlement on my own bills and left with nothing.
