After serving in the Navy during the Vietnam War our father worked shipyards until he retired. He had an active life he loved hiking, fishing, gardening and motorcycles. Tragically our beloved Father died of mesothelioma after working with asbestos for many years. Fortunately we found Bergman Oslund Udo Little. They were so compassionate and helpful in our time of grieving. Thankfully they took our case. Erica Bergman and Venessa Oslund worked so hard and fought so very hard for us in our time of need. The Bergman Law Firm ("Bergman") helped make a devastating situation manageable. Our husband and father's diagnosis of mesothelioma was potentially caused by exposures to asbestos from his father's work clothes when he was a young child; service in the Vietnam war on a World War II era destroyer; employment in a steel mill and in construction, as well as in personal home construction and car service. Only Bergman who already had detailed records on asbestos products, the industrial firms and military vessels using those products, their suppliers and producers could have located those responsible for his exposures and identified potential defendants. And their experience with other victims made them effective as litigators in this area. After dealing for some months with work interruptions, medical bills and later leave on disability, the family was close to destitute. My brother was diagnosed with mesothelioma in May 2014, and passed away in August 2014. The Bergman attorneys, Chandler Udo specifically, are our angels. Chandler, and the others, have a true passion for this cause--with them, it's waaaay more than just a job. Chandler was with us every step of the way, and he worked his tail off for our family. Without him, we would have nothing. My brother has two special needs adult sons whom he took care of, and without Chandler, they'd be living on the streets now. We were able to pay off the house, and there is a stream of income that takes care of their daily needs. My nephews and their stepmom continue to receive additional settlements to this day. These guys are the most compassionate, hard working, dedicated people---you want them on your side. They are local, and respond to every question and concern with lightning speed.
