I've stopped by twice before their posted closing hours on my way home from work and they've been closed both times.

Dan has worked on my ring twice, once to fix a missing stone and the second time to resize it. He does excellent work with an eye for detail, exactly what you want in a jeweler. I made the mistake of trying to go to a jeweler closer to my home in North Seattle after he moved to Burien and the service was not friendly and the price 3x higher. I cancelled the order and took it to Dan instead. He is worth the drive!

I trust Sanford design for all my fine jewelry repair work. A family run business, they do all their work in house with great attention to detail. In addition to timely repairs, they do a lot of custom work, and are mindful of where their materials are sourced. I look forward to collaborating with them to re-work/re-design some of my mom's 80's fine jewelry that is not quite my style- but will be with their help. Double thumbs up.

Just discovered this hidden gem ;) in Burien. Dan and team did an excellent job repairing my engagement ring and making changes to address issues in the original design. The best part was Dans willingness to share his expert knowledge which helped guide my decision making. A very fun experience!

Over the last few weeks I have been to Sanford Design about four times and have had great service each time I went. The first time I went, I had a bunch of my beloved jewelry that has been broken or in disrepair restored. It was done in just a few days and now it feels like I have a whole new treasure chest back. I went back another time to have a ring cut off that I havent taken off in 10 years to have it cleaned and repaired and restored. It was quick and painless. I went back another time to get my husbands watch opened and to get the battery replaced and while it was too large to fit the tool available, I went back a final time on the morning of my wedding to buy the most beautiful Pearl earrings that absolutely completed the look for my special day. I had seen them each time I went in, and Im so glad I followed my intuition to get them. The service is always super sweet and quick and the prices are truly affordable when you take stock of what youre really getting.
