This post is more of a rant about the poor customer service at the bar. The bartender there feels like he is entitled and rude and does not pour properly. This is not a complaint about getting your money's worth because we all know we go to a hotel of the stature that you get what you pay for. But the rudeness that came from this gentleman was completely un needed and improper. With zero apology. $16 for a cranberry and house vodka and when you told them that they forgot the second shot they do a literal, 1/10 of a second splash. And you say something to them they literally throw it in their trash look at you roll their eyes and shrug. This is not something that's come to be expected from a hotel of this caliber. The rooms are nice the rest of the service was nice when I said something to the front desk which, I waited over an hour to do so I could cool down after the mistreatment just to make sure it wasn't me they understood and offered me items out of their store which I declined. I feel that when you are on a business trip and paying the nature of what we have to pay in a place like this, we should at least get the customer service to follow suit. This was the three times over a 12-hour period that this gentleman is read to me. I was never rude to him, I'm not a real person. But apparently he decided three times over a daily period to be rude to me... Or this is just how he is. But when you want $16 for one drink and a hotel that cost sizable numbers you should expect more. I will not be staying in the DoubleTree in this area again just due to this one person. I know that might sound petty, but in my mind of work getting away from home or something you look to be relaxing, not to be treated like this. I hope somebody reads this and does something about it, I know that results are doubtful though. I hope you know this is not spiteful just informative. If you don't drink or don't care about the bar, that's a wonderful place.
