Dr. Nguyen was awesome! A to-the-point no-nonsense doctor who did a great job on my tooth. I couldn't get a CT Scan because of my insurance and he was willing to work around that, and I can tell a lot of care and attention went into doing the procedure properly. Glad there are Endodontists in Seattle who are enjoyable to work with! Office staff very kind as well.

Over the past year and a half I had to have two root canals done.  I was referred both times to Seattle Endodontics.  My first experience was with Dr. Moran and it was as good an experience you can have with a root canal.  He was professional and kind.  Then, I had to go in for a second one 6 months later.  This time I was assigned to Dr. Nguyen.  I will NEVER go to him again for any procedure - I have never left a dental office feeling so horrible and I've been going to dentists regularly for 50 years.  It felt like He was very unhappy I was even there.  He was rude and a little rough while doing the work.  To start with he kept insisting that I push myself up In the chair.  My body kept sliding down because of gravity.  I'm not sure of why he didn't adjust the chair to accommodate where he wanted me, but instead kept insisting that I fight gravity - which I obviously can't do.  Perhaps he just needs training on how to work those very expensive chairs?  I needed several shots of Novacane and this was done a bit roughly.  In finishing the job there is a temporary filling done....it was not finished and was rough.  Poor attitude towards his patient and rough - never again. As far as rating goes, Dr. Moran = 5 stars, Dr. Nguyen = -5 stars.

    1. Three assistants took several X-rays for me, none of them ever put a vest on me. They need to be trained. This is not acceptable.2. Dr.Nguyen put something very cold on my teeth to test how sensitive the teeth were, because the bad tooth was extremely sensitive and painful, after feeling that sharp pain, I couldn't help but moved away. I've consulted other dentists, usually the ice test should be gradually applied instead of putting a lot on one's tooth initially. Then he said "You are very difficult to work with, did other dentists tell you this? You shouldn't move around". ???. I came here to consult, not to let you insult. You can tell by his posture, body language and words, that he was very impatient, cold, and distracted. Isn't he the one who is difficult to work with instead? Anyways, will not come back and visit again.
