Hello Trudy,I’m afraid we must have had a misunderstanding. Everyone who brings their dog here (and hopefully any daycare) is expected to provide vaccination records to demonstrate their dog is safe to expose to our pack. We notify people of this requirement when scheduling the appointment, and this is why you got a courtesy call to let you know we still hadn’t received them. You’re now giving me a “one star” review for not exposing my pack to your dog without any vaccination records? It seems like giving you what you were asking for - proceeding with the evaluation with no vaccine records - is far more “one star worthy.” Of course, I’ve experienced situations where people weren’t able to get their vaccination records in time for their appointment. We typically reschedule. This is why I find your review completely out of line. We at Rocket Dog Care (and hopefully all daycares) are in the business of providing care. To adequately do so, one must ensure all dogs are starting at a healthy place regardless of the inconvenience. I always have and always will require proof of vaccinations, and will proudly continue to exercise my right and responsibility to refuse service to anyone who doesn’t follow this policy and should not get a one star review for doing so.
