Seattle Smiles Dental

I took my son to Seattle Smiles for a tongue and lip tie revision at the recommendation of our lactation consultant. The procedure was quick and went well. Prior to the procedure I reached out to their office to have them run the estimates against our insurance to make sure that the procedures would be covered and get an estimate. They provided me with an estimate of $774 as the total out of pocket costs, with the rest being covered by insurance. I paid this amount on the day of the procedure. Several weeks later I received a bill in the mail for an additional $942. This meant that a procedure that was expected to cost $774 would now be a little over $1700. I reached out to the insurance company to see if there had been a mistake, but they appear to have processed our claim correctly. We called Seattle Smiles and asked if we could negotiate a reduction as I felt deceived by the original estimate. Seattle Smiles was unwilling to lower the bill. Be wary of the estimates provided as my final out of pocket cost was nearly a thousand dollars more than expected.

Hands down the best dental care Ive ever received. Ive had care at around 1/2 dozen places due to lots of moving in my 20s. Kind care. The providers throughly explained care - the what/why and impact. Will be my long term provider in Seattle.

I feel very heard here and the staff all take great care to explain the process and what they're doing. Everyone is so attentive and kind and for someone with a lot of care needed on my teeth, it is greatly appreciated. The office has great views and is very calming.

It has been about a year since I have been able to go to the dentist. And the doctor and assistants made me feel at ease, and explained everything very clearly. Glad I have found this place.
