Timber Tax

I used their service for my 2019 California business tax. Everything seemed fine. However they seemed to lack the knowledge of the tax due date which resulted in me receiving a penalty fine from California. When I informed them a month ago about this they told me its because I paid the taxes in June (the extended due date). However when I called the California tax board they informed me that the taxes were to be prepaid in November of the prior year. The agent informed me that this was a common mistake made by accountants and people. Im disappointed.

i've been working with timber for a few years now + let me just say... as a 26 year old women who doesn't know an ounce about taxes.. I don't know what i'd do without timber tax. they put up with all my silly questions, very responsive, professional, make me feel safe + secure, + extremely personable people. all around great people + amazing business!

BEST ACCOUNTANTS EVER FOR SMALL BUSINESSES/FREELANCERS. Especially if you're looking for someone to help you navigate PPP loans, etc., right now. I've worked with Timber Tax for several years now and seriously I cannot recommend them enough, they have been absolutely essential to helping us start and grow our business since we first started, and they are so so easy to work with. For someone who doesn't really "get" all the financial/tax/numbers part of business very easily, their team makes it easy and does all the work for you, saving you money, stress, and confusion. Can you put a price on peace of mind? Luke and Anne are not only wonderful accountants who will work as a valued part of your business team, they are also just incredible people that you will enjoy every interaction with.
