    Hi All, Just wanted to share my experience with Budget at SEATAC airport. Despite the negative reviews, my experience wasn't bad at all. There was no line when I arrived and about 2-3 employees at the counters. They pulled up my reservation from Costco and did not try to upsell me for any other coverage. Please note, I rented a 12 person passenger van so availability may differ for everyone. They initially did not have a van ready but I think they share vehicles with Avis and was able to find a proper van from them. Took about 10 mins for them to get a vehicle, not horrendous but you would expect them to have a vehicle ready. The van was clean and had a full tank. Not much in terms of frills and had about 20k miles on it. It got us to where we needed to go. Check in was cake as well, no line. The attendant didn't even bother to check the fuel level. MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR A RECEIPT. I saw some people get additional charges after they dropped off their cars so I made sure to get a final receipt. I was nervous after reading all the reviews but things went smoothly for me.

    Recommend avoiding here. Line out the door. 2 agents working. Plenty of available avid agents but nobody over there is willing to help out. Frustrating.

    I was catching a red-eye flight and dropped the car off late at night. I filled the car up at the Arco ($6.32 to top it off) less than a mile away before turning it in. I didn't realize budget charged me $12.99 fee to "fill up the car" until after I was at the airport waiting on my flight. As I was on government travel, upon filing my reimbursement claim I was told it would not be covered. How many government travelers are getting charged this bogus fee and not fighting back? Budget probably has a nice fat piggy bank of stolen money with this "fee". I've already put a complaint into DTS and will never use Budget again. I'm also making sure all my fellow government travelers and our Command travel office know about this thievery. I'm using both the Budget rental agreement receipt and my personal $6.32 Arco receipt as justification to not use Budget ever again on my future orders. UPDATE: I called & disputed the charges. 5 star review for the employee that reversed them quickly but Budget is still a 1 star grift. The fees shouldn't have happened in the first place. The State is probably in on it for the taxes too. Will NOT use Budget again.

    In the past year, my spouse and I have arrived to the rental counter and there were no cars available and were given, something drivable but we weren't happy with the alternatives. The pick up truck I got this time was so horrible, I may not rent from Budget again. I didn't have time to get into all the issues when I got back to the airport and want to follow up with a manager soon.
