Blue Whale Sail

This is way overdue! John and Janaea were able to make a very special sunset cruise and surprise proposal happen during the busy 4th of July holiday, 2021. The wine, meat and cheese platter, and sail boat were absolutely wonderful! Janaea and Capitan John had great tunes, great conversation and made us feel like weve been friends, sailing in the Sound for years! We connected over food and Janaea shared some of her favorite places in Seattle. I cannot express my gratitude enough and we very much look forward to getting back on the water with these two. If you have the opportunity DO IT!!!

We wanted our Mom's birthday to be extra special this year since it was a "milestone" year birthday and we could not be there to celebrate with her, so we arranged for a 2 hour lunch sail experience for her and our Dad to enjoy. They had never been on a yacht before, or had an opportunity to sail in the Puegot Sound, so this was new and exciting adventure. John and Janaea were very attentive and so kind and made everything about the experience so wonderful and memorable for both of our parents, who gave nothing but rave reviews about everything from the delicous meal Janaea prepared and the beautiful boat to the enjoyable conversation with Captain John and talented chef, Janaea. In short, they had an absolute BALLenjo, enjoyed every single second and would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you, John and Janaea for making such a special day for our Mom's birthday. She will surely treasure the memory for years to come! I am also posting the email my Mom sent to you to express her own appreciation, since she was not sure how to post a review herself: Hi Janaea, we just wanted to thank you and Captain John again for the lovely time we had with you on Saturday. Due to Covid my staff and I had not physically seen each other in over a year. This was the perfect firm outing. Janaea and John had a beautiful and tasty charcuterie, plenty to drink and were attentive to make sure everyone was comfortable. We did not leave hungry! John was full of knowledge of the surrounding area. They told us some of their sailing stories and left us to talk amongst ourselves. I would take anyone on a charter with them, including small children. Overall it was a gorgeous and relaxing time!
