    I'm so disappointed that I have to write a poor review. My daughter is getting ready to go to college and I wanted to splurge and get her hair dialed before she left. I set up the appointment with Robert and literally texted "My daughter wants to get her hair done before she heads to college. She needs it to be easy to maintain. She has blonde mid back length hair. Her color needs to be touched up and hair cut." I went with her to her appointment to ensure she was getting what she wanted. Since her and I were both there, we both collaborated on what she wanted, He said he'd take 2 inches off and literally held up her hair and showed us what he'd take off. We were fine with that. He said he wanted to take her natural color and go a shade or two darker and that seemed ok. We were under the impression he was toning down the very light blonde and we were ok with that. We were also very trusting. He literally cut at least 5 inches, gave her some layers and darkened her hair with a Demi to a dark brown. She's been blonde since birth and this was a shock. As anyone can imagine, going from long light blonde to a short dark brown is a serious commitment and a huge change that you have to be ready for. I tried to reach out to understand what we could do to fix this as she was so unhappy. My heart just aches. While I waited several days for a response, we got a second opinion at a reputable salon and they thought it looked like a home box kit because she felt the color wasn't evenly applied throughout the hair. They took several pictures and angles to assess what they could do. When I told her we paid over $300, she was shocked. She took a test sample to see how it would lift and after several hours, she called and said it turned orange. She was confident it was more of a permanent dark brown and that my daughter would literally have to grow it out. Robert did finally call me and when I talked it through, he was a bit defensive. He did say it was a Demi but we are still unsure based on our sample. I told him clearly there was miscommunication but this is an 18 year old client that tried to explain what she wanted and is not happy with her hair. He said we could come in and he'd do another service on her. I asked what he would charge and he said full price. My response was that now I'd be into this for $450+ and that's disappointing. I was expecting a response like "I'm so sorry she's not happy and I want to ensure she loves her hair. Have her come in and let's make this right." Between my hair and my daughter's hair, I've spend over $1200 in the last month at the salon. I'd expect a little more of a caring attitude and I didn't get the feeling that he wanted to ensure we were happy. Please consider this review as I know you have choices, and it's important to have a stylist that wants the best for each customer, to effectively communicate and to clarify each step of the way. I think this would have prevented a very disappointed 18 year old that went from being a long haired blonde for 18 years to a short haired dark brunette in one bad hair session. I'm still trying to understand how this new style is "less maintenance" for her heading off to college.

    I got a brazilian blowout a couple weeks ago and I absolutely love the results.  My hair is so much easier to manage and style and looks sooo much healthier.  I will definitely be adding this service a couple times a year!
