        This brisket was so succulent it brought tears to my eyes! I forced myself to save a little for my man and he was ecstatic I did. Very happy to have found The Barbeque Pit

        Texan here. Pookey makes great brisket, moist and flavorful, and very tasty potato salad and greens. His restaurant is very warm and inviting with rustic tables supported by logs. I am looking forward to returning to try his ribs and gumbo.
