Black River Builders is the best contractor in this area. If they will bid your job you won't find a better contractor. John priced the jobs he did for us very fairly. The work they did was exemplary and far superior to my previous contractor. Don’t make a mistake and not have John bid your job, you won’t be sorry with the quality of work he and his crew produce, they are the best.John will work with you as he did with me on my 50x32, garage shop. I drew the plans for what I wanted, John made it happen. The whole project worked out better than I ever envisioned, I should have had it done years ago.I also had John do some interior remodeling work for us after he finished the shop garage project. Like the garage shop project, John and the crew did a masterful job. If you want a building contractor for whatever project you have call John Martin. If he's willing to bid your project it'll be a worry free process from beginning to end.

Black River Builders built our small home in Olympia, WA. John and his entire crew are the most professional, kind and polite people we have ever worked with. The whole team has integrity. They understood our vision, and respected our wishes. They are very good listeners, and put quality first in everything they did on our build. We were fortunate to contract with them during a very busy time in the construction industry. We turned away other contractors that we felt were not a good fit, and are so happy we did. I contracted with Black River Builders to build me a 32x50 garage/shop. I had no garage; I had a shop that I couldn't do anything in. It was bursting at the seams for space with equipment, materials and misc. I drew my vision of what I wanted on a piece of paper; John Martin made some immediate suggestions regarding size, man doors, and windows. John and I began talking in mid February, by mid March the slab was poured and then about May 29th the project was 99% complete. John has a fantastic crew they are polite, know their business, kept me well informed, answered any question I had. John was always available via cell phone, email or on the job. He responded quickly to all inquiries. He was easy to work with throughout the whole project. If he said he would do something you can guarantee it would get done. He takes pride in doing first class work and he is as honest as the day is long. You won't find a better contractor in this area, big or small John Martin and his crew can do it all! John is a very easy going guy I liked him when I first met him, he was timely, any commitments he made he kept, he was flexible. What do I think of Johns work, it was outstanding! I'm sorry I didn't have him build this shop/garage years ago it came out great. Im really proud of the facility I planned; John brought my vision to fruition. There are so many custom touches in this building it came out better than I envisioned. Ill never have to scrape ice off my windows again either! The reason I say that is because this past winter, I was scraping ice off my vehicle window in the cold and asked myself why am I doing this?! Thats when I got the idea for the garage/shop. I havent had my vehicles under cover for over 35 years that Ive lived here, now I will. John did an excellent job and installing a new roof on my house! His crew took care of everything from tear off to clean up. John himself took extra care to ensure the sheeting and valleys were prepared before installing shingles. John went the extra mile to install drip edge, sealing skylights and etc, and even fix up some trim on the back side of the house. When living in the PNW it is a peace of mind to have someone like his crew making sure every detail is done right. Thanks to John and the boys, they'll be no leaks to worry about this winter!!!!!
