Seattle Mountain Bike Tours

There really is no better way to see Seattle than by biking -- highly recommend. Whether you're a long time local or just passing through, there's a lot you can learn from a cycling tour!!

I came to Seattle from Maine with my 2 teenage boys to check out U of WA, and since the local Mtn biking scene is integral to my sons choice in colleges, we booked a day with the Seattle Mtn Bike Co. Wow. Matt Paul was our guide for the dayan extremely positive, interesting, engaging, and super awesome rider! We are not new to this sport, yet we left the day with fascinating debates over body and pedal position, shimano vs schram, flats vs clips, hand position, and bike building, to name a few! Matt was a historic geographical enthusiast, answering questions from my boys about tectonic plates, volcanos, and local First Nation respect. The riding was epic-2 different local areas with perfect level of challenging climbing and flow. We even snuck in a refreshing post ride rinse off at a state park lake returning to Seattle. We are extremely grateful for the day, and wealth of information gained of the vast and unending riding this area has, to keep one satiated for a lifetime. Fabulous experience! Ken took us out for the day and he was amazing! We are all basically beginners and he was very knowledgeable and patient with us. We learned a ton. He brought along a very tasty lunch. A must do if you are in the area!

My wife and I signed up for the beginner/intermediate tour on Saturday. It was soo amazing. Ken our guide was open to our suggestions and listened to our need. He was kind, friendly, knowledgeable about the trials and had agood sence of humor. The bikes were excellent, lunch came from a local market and was really good. It was a long and tiring day but well worth it. Thanks again ken.
