Came here after receiving recommendations from friends and had a most wonderful new patient exam and cleaning today.

Dr. Lam-Gershony is the only doctor that I have seen in Washington state. At the time my dad worked for microsoft had good insurance everything was great. My parents got divorced, dad left picture, and it's been rough. Dr. Lam's office is obviously designed to tailor toward high income clients. Even though that is no longer me I have avoided leaving her practice because I am afraid of the dentist. However, after my last visit I will not be going back. I am struggling with a disability that prevents me from working which has put me in a horrible financial situation. She had a plan for me that I wasn't able to complete because of my financial situation. She acted irritated the whole time she examined me. And then when I explained to her I just couldn't afford treatment she just said "Ok" left without saying goodbye to me and showed no compassion whatsoever. While with the other patients she was chatting very nicely to them. The receptionist was snooty when I got confused about my insurance coverage and made me feel dumb. The only one who was kind to me was my dental assistant. If you are a low income person looking for dental care don't go here. They make it a point to make you feel unwanted but won't tell you so. Horrible experience.

The best dental care practice Ive ever gone to. From assessment to exam to cleaning, but most importantly to educating me on how to optimally care for my teeth, Ive learned so much during every appointment.
