Urbane Redmond Townhome Apartments

Update: been here for over a month and I absolutely love it! Madeline is AMAZING. The unit needed a few areas of quick maintenance and she scheduled those within a day! Moving in tomorrow so will have updates soon but a huge reason we chose this place was because how attentive and transparent Madeline was!

Lived here for a year and a half (early 2021- late 2022). Thoughts below: THE GOOD I really loved the location -- super close to Trader Joe's and a bunch of restaurants we enjoyed eating at. When we moved in, the home had already not been very well maintained, but it was a really spacious floorplan with tons of storage. There are really high quality appliances included in the home :) THE BAD After I signed the initial lease, we really struggled to get ahold of the property manager. However, Madeline, who started sometime last year has been a wonderful replacement and super on top of things!! The home itself is now ~10 years old, and appliances + water heater have still yet to be changed afaik. A bunch of different maintenance folks have done small band aid fixes over the years but these sometimes result in more problems. A sink faucet was replaced without a drain stopper, a toilet kit was replaced with one that's too tall so the tank lid won't fit, a poorly aligned door lock, etc. Some neighbors park outside of their garages, which really congests the small amount of space people have to get cars into and out of their garages. This is something that's not supposed to happen but keeps happening. THE UGLY My biggest gripe was actually maintenance. We had to deal with a lot of churn of the maintenance staff, and I really grew to miss some of the previous maintenance staff. Generally, the maintenance staff were always super swamped/overwhelmed, as they are also responsible for the Westwater Apartments property :( We had smoke detector battery on one of our vaulted ceilings (20ft) go out In September and beep continuously day & night for an entire month before we were able to get someone to come by with a massive ladder to change it, despite multiple requests (including emergency requests). We weren't notified prior to several visits from maintenance/vendor teams to replace our balcony door. They replaced our door, but never installed blinds in peak summer, and we had to wait basically a month to get new blinds installed that wouldn't even fit on the door that had just gotten installed and ended up being [incorrectly] installed on the doorframe. TL;DR Great location, spacious floorplan, 10-yr old property, super slow maintenance Despite the bad and the ugly, I still enjoyed living here. However, if I were considering moving in, I would definitely take time to consider whether the net experience is worth the price of the rent.

(This is for the apartment/townhouse community) - Leasing office very unresponsive, and not helpful at all - cancels tour appointments and does not respond to why. And this was the experience for someone interested in leasing a new apt in the area.
