        Not an honest gym. My daughter joined last Summer. She moved away to college in another town. They continued to charge her monthly despite attempts to cancel. They insisted on in person cancellation - despite her out of town location. When she did cancel in mid -December she was still charged two days later. I would use a different, more honest gym.

      We're sad to hear our cancellation process has caused you distress, and we seek to be as transparent as possible about it. Since we require a signature for all cancellations, we currently have two methods for canceling. You can either sign a form at your club's front desk, or you can mail a signed letter to your home club directly (certified mail is recommended for tracking purposes). For reference, this appears in your Membership Agreement signed prior to joining and on our policy page under "Membership Cancellations" here: https://www.planetfitness.com/about-planet-fitness/planet-fitness-policies. If you have any questions or concerns, the club manager would be happy to further address them with you.
