Exclusively positive experiences here in the year I've used them. Great communication and very ethical shop. Omar goes above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. After my car was at Petersen's, something went wrong on my way to the airport, I parked it in a Seattle lot and left town for two weeks. They were willing to come from Port Angeles, pick up the car, and fix a problem they felt they were responsible for and didn't charge me extra, and put the vehicle back where it was parked for me when I got back. They could have left me out to dry but they displayed the highest level of integrity. Another time I was able to get my car repaired with them for $700 when another shop as well as the Subaru dealership quoted me over $2,000.

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for Petersens Automotive in Port Angeles! I drive all the way from Wenatchee just to have my van serviced by this incredible mechanic. After multiple disappointing experiences with "specialty Westy mechanics," I was starting to lose hope, but then I found Mike. His expertise and genuine passion for what he does truly shine through in his work. He not only fixed my van when others couldn't, but he also took the time to listen to my concerns and needs, making me feel valued as a customer, and treated my car like his own, and me, as a friend! Mikes personable and kind nature makes every visit a joy. It's evident that he loves what he does, and that enthusiasm translates into top-notch service. I highly recommend Petersens Automotive to anyone in need of exceptional car care. I'd drive even further than I already do just to have him work on my beloved Westfalia!
