I urge you to find someone else I've been seen twice in almost a year and I'm in regular daily pain from my RA. I've called multiple times to tell them my medicine isn't working and they say it's takes 12 weeks for it to work. I'm on week 11 and am now bedbound. I'm 29 and my fingers are turning and immovable. They do not care about your quality of life. When I called to tell them I'm in pain I had to nearly yell at the MA for a prednisone prescription. They sent the prednisone and did not book a follow up appointment. Id be waiting 3 more months in pain and bedbound if I stick with Thapa. Trust your gut the first appointment.

Dr. Thapa and all of his staff have provided the best level of care. They are all very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this office.

I wasted a year here. My experience with my new doctor is vastly different; I am finally receiving adequate testing, care, and a treatment plan. Dr. Thapa came into our first appointment with a preconceived notion and stuck with it, completely disregarding my symptoms and quality of life. Based on my research and other's experiences, he did less than the bare minimum as a rheumatologist. I regret not leaving his care after my first, brief appointment (the only appointment, as he merely followed up with 5 minute phone call). The whole experience was incredibly disheartening. Please follow your gut and advocate for yourself in healthcare. My body suffered a year of additional damage due to a provider's bias.

One of the primary reasons for my dissatisfaction is the behavior of the lady at the front desk. She has consistently displayed rudeness and unprofessionalism, which has made it uncomfortable for me to interact with her. As a patient seeking medical assistance, it is disheartening to encounter such a negative attitude from a representative of the healthcare facility. I felt that my concerns and health issues were not taken seriously by Dr. Thapa. It is essential to have a doctor who listens attentively and shows genuine care for their patients' well-being. Unfortunately, I did not feel that Dr. Thapa provided this level of commitment in addressing my health concerns. Given these experiences, it is necessary for me to find a new rheumatologist who will prioritize my health and treat me with the respect and professionalism that all patients deserve!!
