Not even here 24 hours and I am through with this place. It's almost like they put me in a room and forgot about me. They were hot to get me here from the hospital on a Friday afternoon but couldn't provide the PT services they could at the hospital over the weekend. They keep giving me meals I can't eat despite my telling them my dietary restrictions- but neglecting to tell me that I can fill out a menu request. Takes a half hour to respond to the call button - I am told to have an escort to the bathroom but no one shows up. As the pain block wears off and the need for pain meds increase, I had to wait longer than a reasonable amount of time time for them, forget about staying ahead of the pain. Lots of other things, like help with showers but no one tells me the schedule, morning cleaning routine, etc.. In short, it was a Friday afternoon dump and run. UPDATE: I would like to add that once the Rehabilitation Dept (PT, OT) department met with me their services have been stellar. I receive both PT and OT on a daily basis and due to their diligent and professional services I have been making progress. My issue was and is the serious lack of communication on the upper management level, UPDATE 2: I would like to say things have improved but sadly they have not. There is an outbreak of COVID-19 and the infected numbers are rising exponentially. I now have it and for the past 2 days I have been asking for for meds to counteract the meds. I have not received them. This doesn't surprise me, given that I haven't seen the medical staff more than once since my arrival. This will delay my recovery.

Hands down the therapy dept is the best thing to come out of this facility. Mindy and Jen are wonderful. I wouldn't be here with out them. So thank you girls. Jose is the best CNA this facility has on there staff. Eddy is the best Nurse! The girls in actives are wonderful. Other then that, I wouldnt give this place more then three stars. They gave my cloths to other residents. Somehow, they threw away my parcel. Then turn around and said they would only pay for half of it, to be replaced. Still today, they have yet to do that. Its been almost two months. So now, I have to come up with another 1200 to get another one made. It wouldn't be so bad, but it's my front two teeth. I was in there care.

This Feedback is From Thomas Kelley: I had improved to where I could walk by myself without any problem & didn't need assistance. But then physical therapy said I needed to have physical therapy --but they had me do things that set my progress back completely & caused me to have back pain and impacted my ability to walk as good as I was before the therapy. They didn't seem to listen or care when I told them about the pain. I still have back problems to this day. That's my feedback!!Thomas Kelley

So, I am updating this review for my mother Diana Pruter, this is her daughter Rocio Wick. So, if I could give 0 stars I would because this place needs better workers there is one worker there named Kandy that was really horrible and needs to learn better bedside manner. Plus every time I talked to Diana on the phone a lot of call lights would be going off. Definitely dont recommend this place!!! A worker had wrote this review under her name while she was under the influence of pain meds, I was a resident here at Avalon Pasco for a few weeks and it was a great experience. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive. It was a very positive experience and I would recommend this facility to anyone needing nursing and therapy services. Special thanks to nurses Irma J and Rolando L. Phenomenal service very caring and compassionate. A million thanks.

My cousin left this place with a broken leg she is immobile so she couldn't have broken it on her own. She is currently in hospital after being here. She is reporting abuse. She is stating they pull her hair and other physical abuse. Do not send your love ones here!!! We will be reporting to state authorities
