Shilo Inns Ocean Shores

Kind of run down compared to earlier years. Still a good and safe place to stay. My Dog loves it here.

Noteworthy details: No coffee only decaf. No housekeeping while on-site. No sign to hang on the door for do not disturb or requesting housekeeping. People were leaving their rubbish bins in the hallway. Despite all of this my wife states that she would still be willing to stay again just for the location.

We reserved a room via the Shilo Inn website two days prior. Upon arrival we were told that the restaurant and bar were closed for renovations. There was no mention of this on there website or we would have most likely went somewhere different because those were the very reasons we booked a room here. While our room was clean and adequate for our needs, we found that the property and areas in the pool and hot tub area seemed to be in need of many repairs! I could have taken at least a couple dozen photos that showed various issues, but the cracked floor tiles in the main lobby just showed me that they didnt seem to really care about the overall appearance of things. In the pictures it shows obvious built up grime on the tiles around the pool and hot tub. The gutters had water streaming over the top outside of one of the windows by the hot tub as you can see in the video. The people working the front check in counter were very nice and friendly. But overall we most likely will not stay here again. There are nicer places in Ocean Shores to stay that are in much better shape.
