Elk Ridge Campground

Love this place. We stayed in a cabin with our dog. The grounds are so beautiful and the owners are amazingly friendly. Had a wonderful time and cant wait to get back there.

Tim Hoefer and family have a unique way of bringing strangers together inviting soulful conversations around the fire pit, sharing many stories and lots of laughter. The campground is spotless, as Tim and his team are diligent on keeping up with all of the everyday maintenance. Each cabin has its own theme, giving you a sense of warmth and coziness. The grounds themselves are lovely, and a quick jaunt to the vast river, looking at the mountains around, definitely lets you know, you are in God's country. For any writer who may feel that block, or the artist that needs to find new inspiration, this is a perfect sanctuary to revive your creativity. One other great feature is the fun and festive red barn, which has a stage for local artists and plenty of room to dance, worship and eat. This is the best place to visit or plan a destination wedding. The owner is absolutely outstanding. You have to make reservations early, they are packed. Lots of fun things to do

We rented the whole campground for a family reunion in August and everyone raved about it. There are pizza and brunch places nearby for the foodies, a movie theatre on site for the young people, corn hole for the young at heart and restful goat watching for me. Tim and staff delivered everything we needed to make the weekend special. Dont miss this hidden gem!
