        Really surprised this monument hasnt been canceled yet (in the same manner the road named Ft Wright Oval on Fairchild AFB was renamed Willow Loop or Fort George Wright Drive renamed Wistalks Way in Spokane). Lest we forget, we must tear down and erase history we dont like and must judge the past according to todays standards. Neither Wright, his soldiers, Owhi, or the tribes were explicitly in the right or exclusively in the wrong. True history is always more nuanced. But thats not conducive to modern-day activism. We should probably topple the Washington memorial, blast Mount Rushmore, and maybe even level the Lincoln memorial for, you know, reasons..
