I bought a new-construction home a year ago, and felt that we would benefit from a patio slider door in our dining room. I was given a recommendation to use CF Builders from someone who had similar work done, and I am very pleased with the work. Greg came out for a free estimate along with one of his two sons who also work with him. After discussing various sizing options, we determined that it would be reasonable to custom-order a slider door to fit a larger space rather than a standard door from a box store. He explained that without opening up the drywall above the windows there was no way to know the header situation, and so he provided a quote based on two situations; one where the header is fine as-is, and one where the header would need to be replaced. Both quotes were reasonable and I felt a good value for the work involved. Fast forward 3-4 months, due to a delay in the home improvement supply chain, we finally got the door delivered to the house. Once it was here, Greg and family were extremely efficient in getting in and having everything installed. They even were able to add some extra work to create an exterior light block so that the new light fixture would match the others around the house. They even came back a couple times after the work was "done" to finish up the drywall patching and texturing. A-Plus work! I couldn't be happier with the quality of the door itself, as well as the finish work - I'm just amazed at how nice everything looks - as if it came with the house! All that's left is for me to paint. I would recommend CF Builders and have already requested a quote for some other work that I'd like them to do. Service: Remodeling
