I have done my due diligence in communicating my insurance with office staff (Diana) before an appointment I had today. Diana worked with me and even my insurance company with me on the phone to ensure that marysville modern dentistry is in-network with my insurance company. I did this over a period of three days, not just a single call. Long story short I was told by Diana she is processing the details of my insurance, I will be covered, and to come to my appointment. When I arrived to the appointment, Diana was not in the office. I was told by another staff member they dont take my insurance. I told her I have been communicating with Diana for three days and Diana literally called me just yesterday and told me to come into my appointment. The lady said she made a mistake and thought it was another insurance. I was honestly dumbfounded because I had communicated this to a great level of detail with Diana the last three days and she ensured me continually they take my insurance. She even talked to my insurance company with me on the phone!! I told the office staff I need to hear it from Diana because I dont think this information was transferred correctly through their system. They called to try and verify with Diana by calling her office she was working for that day. I guess she wasnt available and they confirmed with another office staff member from that office they dont take my insurance. I told the office staff that I need Diana to call me and tell me herself that she screwed up and why she screwed up and that I dont want to hear it from anyone else. Diana called me and apologized and I accept her apology but it doesnt change the outcome of what happened. It is NOT acceptable to tell me to come into your office and that i am covered for the dental work and then tell me when I get there I am not covered. Nobody called me to tell me not to come and I took time off of work for the appointment. Time that is now thrown in the garbage and wasted. Its also embarrassing to me being told publicly you dont take my insurance in front of others and then me having to argue about it because of the level of detail I went through dealing with all this from Diana. Therefore, I highly regret trusting this place for my dental needs and definitely do not recommend this place to anyone!!

I really loved this little office! I hadn't been to a dentist in about 25 years and they made sure I didn't feel judged or shamed for it. I was very lucky that all I needed after all those years was a deep cleaning and since my insurance and their schedule that day allowed for it, they were able to do it right then and there! Due to the nature of that kind of cleaning I kept having to remind myself to breathe and relax but the easy banter between Dr. Coates and Ally made it easier and as fun as getting rock-like crud scraped off of your teeth can be. My teeth look and feel amazing (I wish I had before and after photos!) Thank you, Dr. Coates and Ms. Jones!

Stopped going to this facility 2 YEARS ago and just received a bill for 80 dollars for an estimate correction. Buyer Beware! UPDATE: Called and was told there was no need to pay this but this isn't the first time their billing has been funny. I do not trust this facility, but since I didn't have to pay this ridiculous bill you get 2 stars.
