Came here after my last dentist had retired. The staff are very professional. 5 stars as my cleaning went well and I saw clear results. My teeth haven't looked this good in years.

I have been to this office 2 times. For a deep cleaning and a cavity. All of the staff members were very nice . The receptionist, Sierra, and i shared a laugh over having the same name. The dental hygienist, Kristina , really took her time to explain everything to me. I told her I have a severe phobia of the dentist office in general. She was very careful , and gentle which I appreciated. She also numbed me before the dentist, Dr Patil was also very kind when I explained my severe phobia of procedures. And numbed me a second time. Everyone treated me with respect. Terri was also very kind to work with. They explained my insurance coverage clearly before any procedures. I plan on coming back for future care.

If I could give this place a zero rating I would. Last year in February I was having tooth pain. I had just moved to the area and hadn't been to the dentist in awhile due to high anxiety and bad experiences. But, the tooth was really bothering me to the point I couldn't eat nor drink anything. I looked online and unfortunately everyone was booked up for several months and I looked at the website for Modern Dentistry and requested an appointment. The receptionist on the phone was nice she helped me schedule an appointment. I go in for my appointment and they took x-rays and couldn't find out what was going on so I was referred to a specialist. So I drove to Covington and end result had to have a root canal. Afterwards they told me that I needed to go back to the referring dentist to have a crown made. Little did I know the root canal had drained my insurance and I still paid $444.00 dollars upfront AND received a bill in the mail from them for another $100.00. So, I go back in for my crown and I requested that it be sent out to my grandfather to make my crown because that's what he does for a living and was completely discouraged belittled on why I shouldn't do that. But, I'm the patient and what I want should have been justified. I'm already a nervous nelly at the dentist and I caved.. Then, I was told that it was going to cost me another $1,500.00 ish and would not give me a breakdown of the cost. My boyfriend had to show up and he was extremely vocal and THEN they gave me a breakdown of what I was paying for. When I asked why they said that the specialist had used up my dental coverage.... So I paid it... Upfront and then they placed the crown. I told Usha that it was to tall and it did not align with my other teeth and it's a front one so it was VERY noticeable. Her words to me was "you'll get use to it" and that "any professional dentist that looks in my mouth would say it's perfect". So again I felt like I was told to sit down and shut up AGAIN. I have never walked into a place a felt more belittled and manipulated. I will never be back here. I had my first dentist appointment with a new dentist today and they were incredible. When I explained my frustration of the crown the dentist fixed it she saw that it was not perfect and she fixed it.
