Alderwood Engraving Jewelry and Watch Repairs

Took a bracelet to them and asked if they could shorten it. They said yes, $65, done in three days. One month later, after multiple calls and visits, they finally tell me its done. Look for yourself. What they did was laughable. They cut the string, tied enormous knots and superglued them so they wouldnt come undone. I called my credit card company to get a chargeback immediately. I absolutely would not recommend letting them repair anything. I dont imagine any of their jewelry is legit either.

Bought a new Citizen Eco-drive with stainless braclet. Need to adjust the band. Anne fixed it while I waited for 15 minutes, She gave me advice on how to extend its battery life. Excellent and friendly service. I found a regular place to fix( battery replacement) my watch collections. At affordable price too. No tricky estimates like when you call other watch repair place, which will tell you that it depends on the watch, too vague answer, so you have to go their store. Very honest answer, when I mentioned the make and model. She quoted $18.95, and that's what I paid after the service. Highly recommended and very nice kiosk inside Alderwood Mall

Outstanding and well priced. I brought them a 30+ year old pocket watch with sentimental value that I accidentally left in a pocket and ran through a wash and dry cycle. They did a full take down and refurbished it and even re-timed it for under $100 when other watchmakers in the same area quoted $450+ saying they needed to replaced a bunch of parts. I very rarely give 5 stars but these folks earned it. Thanks Sara!

Heed my warnings and avoid this place. They took 2 of my nice watches and said they would repair them in 2 weeks with a new glass on one watch and a new plastic cover on another (older watch). After 3 weeks I get no call from them and decide to call and check on the status. At first they have no idea what Watches I was talking about until I whipped out the receipt they gave me. Even them they couldn't find their copy for a bit. Then they said they are still looking Into the repairs and will get back to me the next day. No call call next day. A week and a half later I called at least a dozen times and got no answer. Left a message. Finally got a call back a couple days later with the same status, 'we are still looking into this.' Finally I decided to just get my watches back, one of which seems worse than when I gave it as it won't wind anymore. Stay away.

NOT COMPETENT. Do Not Trust Alderwood Engraving Jewelry and Watch Repairs. I asked them to repair the stem on my watch. They said it would cost $89 and they opened the watch to order parts. When I returned to retrieve the watch it was no longer functioning at all. They told me they could not get the part to repair the stem. When they handed the watch back to me I informed them the back of the watch was not sealed properly and some of the buttons were not functioning or sealed. I guess they thought I would not notice OR maybe they are so incompetent they did not notice the damage they had done. They worked on it some more while I waited. They re-sealed the watch but it was not operating properly. They reduced an over $300 watch to non-functioning trash. When I complained, the proprietor offered to give me a very cheap watch (maybe $10 value) for my loss. I told her to keep it.
