I have lived here over two years now and cannot imagine living anywhere else! The staff has always been awesome and helpful. The place is well-maintained and always clean. Issues are addressed in a timely manner. The rules are enforced and it is quiet. The staff has done food events for the residents and seem to always have something going for us. A real sense of community here. Of course you cannot please all the people all of the time but they sure try. Many thanks to Heather, Shannon, Tye, Kato and the others.

My mother has lived for almost 4 years . She likes the place and I was happy to help her live there. She is not fluent in English, unfortunately so I have to take care of everything on her behalf: communication, paying bills etc. I was communicating for her all these years and never had any issues with the staff , but recently her apartment has been flooded and she had to move out to a hotel . We had no updates on what is going on there and when she can go back . I was emailing the management, they barely answered. I decided to stop by at the office during working hours and ask them personally how long she has to stay in the hotel , since we were paying out of pocket. The office was closed, I called them from the lobby. They were inside , but didnt open. I was super calm and didnt expect the office rep (her name is TYE) to be so rude and curt. She didnt want to do her work at all. No explanation, no cooperation, very rude (the rudest person I have met). On all of my simple questions, she was answering: I dont know she was very annoyed to talk to me. On her fourth, I dont know, I slowly said that I DONT know, is not an answer. She finally provided some info but very unwillingly . I was happy to hear that , excited even. She said my mom has to transfer to a different unit with NO more further details. I was begging her for help or for any sort of explanation, but she said she didnt like my tone . I said my tone is perfect (calmly, might I add) which she then followed up with leaving the office and approaching me in the lobby. Immediately, she started yelling, verbally threatening me and my 19 year old daughter. I was so shocked that I basically blanked out and forgot to call the police immediately to record, at least on an official capacity, her threats and hostility in a public and professional setting. Ive never felt so humiliated in my life. Then, she brought her manager but TYE still continued to yell and threaten us saying, I have nothing to lose ????? Towards the end of the overall confrontation, TYE advanced towards me (while I was literally still sitting in my chair) and shoved her face literally millimeters away from mine my daughter, for obvious reasons, saw this as a threat and started to push her away from me. Never in my 17 years of living in America, have I ever experienced anything like this. The other manager who got involved into this ordeal didnt even stop TYE ONCE. I felt like TYE was provoking me the entire time everything in this situation could have been avoided ! After the incident, I called the corporate office and made a complaint. Still waiting on it. The next day, after the argument, I was awaiting for an apology from SOMEONE, but they only said that my mom has to move out, because theyre not sure when the flooding situation will end. They decided to kick my mom out, I guess , even though she has a 12 month contract. I know it was illegal. Ive explained the issue to the general manager on site . I asked to be professional and fair to my mom , also told them about the crazy person in the office . Still waiting on that, but they let my mom move to another unit, fortunately. My mother is completely fine now, thankfully. Still waiting for any updates. I believe that rep cant work with people at all (especially with elder people due to her mental instability), she is dangerous to the public. Meanwhile, no apologies came from the office yet . No apologies for the inconvenience. Nothing . I still cant believe that sort of thing can happen in United States. Probably on the streetyes, but in the apartment complex subsidized by government-- cant . I have been talking to many people after the incident and none of them have ever heard anything as crazy as what happened to me especially in a professional environment. P.S. Other than that, the apartment complex is a very nice place to live. Its very contemporary, clean and well-equipped. My mom was practically the first person to even move into the complex and has been loving it since then.
